Welcome To Creative Flint!
First off, let me introduce myself...I'm Kelsa! I love writing, journaling, scrapbooking, knitting - basically anything that has to do with art! I'm always on the lookout for things that inspire me, and I often find that when I pay attention - they're everywhere! BUT, there are very few blogs or websites in existence specifically to inspire. So here goes...
Creative Flint is here to inspire you, to spark your imagination. As I find things that inspire me, that spark creativity, and that help to develop a sense of child-like wonder - I will pass them on.
Be on the lookout as well for things that are bizarre or thought-provoking. I believe one really great way to churn-up your creativity is to get your mind working!
May I Suggest...
A notebook. It doesn't have to be anything fancy (unless you want it to be). But it does need to be something you can easily carry with you...everywhere. This notebook is where you will write (and draw and paste things in) when you have a thought, idea, quote, image, whatever, that you want to remember.
If the thought of keeping a notebook/journal scares you...get over it! ;) Seriously though, don't make a big deal out of it or stress about it...we'll work through this together.
You will also need a pen, and go ahead a grab some good quality markers...it makes your notebook a lot more fun - and enjoyable to look at!
